HONOUR A LIFE – FIRST THURSDAY IN DECEMBER

Honour a Life

On the first Thursday of each December, the Society sponsors the non-denominational memorial service open to everyone on the North Shore who has lost a loved one. After the memorial service, guests are invited to join a candle light walk to the Sea Walk Garden at the foot of 19th Street on the West Vancouver Sea Walk where personal tributes are hung on a memorial tree that remainds standing and decorated until after the New Year. Honour a Life has become a tradition on the North Shore with many families using the opportunity to mark the passing of a loved one on an annual basis.
